Robin Owens,
Bible prophecy expert Ron Rhodes offers an easy-to-understand yet detailed chronology and explanation of end-times events。 The chapters are arranged around the major end-times themes: the rapture, the tribulation, the millennial kingdom, and the eternal state。 This an extremely user-friendly chronological guide to end-times biblical prophecy。 Rhodes allows for various interpretations among Christians and also sites scripture references with each detail。 The sequence of interpretations he describ Bible prophecy expert Ron Rhodes offers an easy-to-understand yet detailed chronology and explanation of end-times events。 The chapters are arranged around the major end-times themes: the rapture, the tribulation, the millennial kingdom, and the eternal state。 This an extremely user-friendly chronological guide to end-times biblical prophecy。 Rhodes allows for various interpretations among Christians and also sites scripture references with each detail。 The sequence of interpretations he describes is faithful to the biblical text, based on a literal approach to prophecy, and held by many Bible scholars。 This is a great reference book, and being only 264 pages, it is easy to read。 。。。more
Morrigan Gaines,
This book is full of great information。 However, I found that it reads a bit like a textbook, but a good text book。 It was repetitive with the information, and I found it annoying how often Rhodes used the word "apparently。" Overall, it was a good book that wall be very valuable in my Christian walk。 This book is full of great information。 However, I found that it reads a bit like a textbook, but a good text book。 It was repetitive with the information, and I found it annoying how often Rhodes used the word "apparently。" Overall, it was a good book that wall be very valuable in my Christian walk。 。。。more

Thoughtful exploration of the Biblical prophesies about the Second AdventThis was insightful, well - documented, argument that we are, indeed, in the beginning of The End。 I appreciate the calm exposition rather than emotional cry that “the end times are here”。 His rational is clear, precise and he is not adamant about the exact presentation or timing of events。 He allows - and - explains other differing opinions and points of view。

Let's just face it, you see a title like this it either grabs your interest or makes you cringe away。While the cover shouts dramatically at you from across the room, the concept of this book is really quite simple。 A book, about The chronology of the end of (these) times as described in another book。 The book of Revelation。This book sets you up for anything you needed to know, answers (and often incites) eschatological questions。 Ron Rhodes does not lean heavily on his own opinion。 He presents t Let's just face it, you see a title like this it either grabs your interest or makes you cringe away。While the cover shouts dramatically at you from across the room, the concept of this book is really quite simple。 A book, about The chronology of the end of (these) times as described in another book。 The book of Revelation。This book sets you up for anything you needed to know, answers (and often incites) eschatological questions。 Ron Rhodes does not lean heavily on his own opinion。 He presents the biblical facts of Revelation, and includes two perspectives on points that may be called into question。In short, it was a good read, not difficult to chew through, especially if you already have some background experience with Bible events。 。。。more
Matt,
If you are interested in what a pre-trib, pre-millenialist believes about the Second Coming, then this is a very helpful book。 Rhodes is clear and concise regarding the timing of all that happens in a complex understanding of the end times。 I appreciate Rhodes' commitment to the Scriptures and the power of his convictions, but I did not find his arguments persuasive。 As is the case with the Dispensational movement, the Scriptures of the Old and New are often cut and pasted in order to construct If you are interested in what a pre-trib, pre-millenialist believes about the Second Coming, then this is a very helpful book。 Rhodes is clear and concise regarding the timing of all that happens in a complex understanding of the end times。 I appreciate Rhodes' commitment to the Scriptures and the power of his convictions, but I did not find his arguments persuasive。 As is the case with the Dispensational movement, the Scriptures of the Old and New are often cut and pasted in order to construct a chronology that is not plainly revealed in the Bible。 And a failure to read Revelation according to its genre (symbolically) only weakens the overall approach。 。。。more
Dolores Chistian,
The book of Revelation is on apocalyptic events。 I havealways found it a bit confusing with its symbolism, and visions, but the chronological order makes it easier to understand。 I think this is a must-read book and clarifies why did certainthings happened back in Biblical times and how it affects us now andfor eternty。
Julie Hunter,
This is a great book that puts a difficult to study topic in an easy to understand order。 This book is good for those both familiar and unfamilar with scripture and the end times。 Has answered quite a few of my questions。 The best part is that he's not using his own beliefs, everything comes straight out of the Bible and he notes the scriptures everywhere so the reader can use this as a study tool and easily reference their Bible。 I highly recommend this book for anyone and everyone。 This is a great book that puts a difficult to study topic in an easy to understand order。 This book is good for those both familiar and unfamilar with scripture and the end times。 Has answered quite a few of my questions。 The best part is that he's not using his own beliefs, everything comes straight out of the Bible and he notes the scriptures everywhere so the reader can use this as a study tool and easily reference their Bible。 I highly recommend this book for anyone and everyone。 。。。more

Excellent walk through revelation。This was a very encouraging and excellent walk through Revelation and related end time prophecies。 The author grabs your attention and holds it through out, while deftly illuminating the scriptures and leading you along the general timeline of events。
Noble,

Dennis,
Excellent aide in understanding when events will happen。 Often I have gotten confused regarding events described in several different books of the Old and New Testaments。This book attempts to (using scriptures) set the order clearly。I read this in parallel with Revelations in The Message bible。 Worked well for me together。
Patrick,
Solid。 Great resource。

Charlee Bailey,
I have always had a problem understanding Revelation, ever since I read the Bible for the first time, I have read it a lot of times by now in many different versions, from the King James through the NIV。 And while the NIV and the English Standard are my preferred choices, nothing has helped me understand Revelation。 This book does! Its very clear and covers everything about the Second Coming and the End Times。 Now I understand! And you will too! This does not mean that I fully understand the bible, you have to continue to read to digest what you are reading。 It's a never ending cycle, but I'm a better person (I think, because of it)。 I highly recommend this book for people who read and study the bible。 。。。more

Looking at the other reviews, I am going to buck the trend here, but I found this to be a simplistic eschatological treatment with questionable exegesis。 I appreciate Rhodes endeavor to address complex and daunting issues on a popular level as he does here, but the final work is unpersuasive。 Here are my two principle objections to this book:1。 While the temptation to explain eschatology on principally chronological terms is tempting (particularly at a popular level), this book fails to provide Looking at the other reviews, I am going to buck the trend here, but I found this to be a simplistic eschatological treatment with questionable exegesis。 I appreciate Rhodes endeavor to address complex and daunting issues on a popular level as he does here, but the final work is unpersuasive。 Here are my two principle objections to this book:1。 While the temptation to explain eschatology on principally chronological terms is tempting (particularly at a popular level), this book fails to provide a deeper theological framework for understanding the proposed timeline of the eschaton in light of the broader ways in which the whole text of Scripture is read。 That is, Rhodes endeavors to prove his view of a rapture-tribulation-millennial kingdom timeline (a worthy and quite defensible view), without a broader examination of the dispensational aspects of the whole text that leads to such a conclusion。 In other words, Rhodes endeavors to give his readers the pie without showing how the pie has been made。2。 The exegesis is often forced or simply goes well beyond the warrant of the text。 Additionally, where the Bible is silent, Rhodes is not slow to speak。 Rhodes endeavors to explain a lack of explicit reference to the United States in Biblical prophecy by postulating her demise (or decline to irrelevance) arguing for several options, including moral implosion, a nuclear detonation, an electromagnetic pulse attack, overdependence on foreign oil, or some combination of these fiascos。 Such pointless conjecture seems out of place in a book trying to make serious exegetical arguments for a particular eschatological timeline。A far better book on this topic is John MacArthur's excellent work Because the Time is Near 。。。more

Things to comeI liked the chronological ordering of events prophesied for the last days and into eternity。 The author also explains why these events can be taken literally。
Christine Smith,
Very well written。 Very well backed up。 Gives a believer much hope。 I recommend reading to believers and nonbelievers。I chose to rate it highly because it is a very readable book on a difficult subject。 I recommend it to all readers。

This was a fantastic read for anyone wanting to grasp the chronological order of the end times。 It was presented very straight-forward and introduced many popular theories, while maintaining biblical roots that truly encapsulated the very nature of the book。
Lee Anne,
Really straightens out a lot of questions! Check it out。 Very well done。 Discussed over 9 weeks with a group of believers: outstanding!
